Dr. Cecilia Chong received her basic medical training from University of Glasgow, United Kingdom where she graduated with commendation. Subsequently she pursued family medicine vocational training and received her fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners as well as being admitted as a member to the Academy of Family Physicians of Malaysia. Later, she went on to obtain her Diploma in Practical Dermatology (with Distinction) from University of Cardiff, United Kingdom, hence her special interest in skin diseases. Apart from her clinical interests and running a solo family practice, she is also involved in the academia - tutoring for University of Cardiff, University Malaysia Sabah as well as mentoring other doctors in the family medicine vocational training program.
